As the heat of the summer was brought by Ken’s enthusiasm to find his place by building his Mojo Dojo Casa House, and Barbie’s determination to get her dreamhouse back with the help of her new human friends, I created this illustration digitally featuring two of Barbie’s most iconic looks. By creating contrast in her two iconic looks, the art pieces add to the spread by emphasizing the message of the article, tackling how this version of Barbie has been different from any other portrayal we’ve seen of her so far.
